ENTCME x #CannabisAware
The ENTCME team is pleased to present its #CannabisAware project as part of our mandate for Continuing Medical Education. 'Out of the Weeds' is a special webinar that aired live in April 2022, engaging experts in the field to discuss the best evidence about cannabis side effects in the upper airway.
Cannabis was legalized in Canada with the introduction of the Cannabis Act in 2018. This rapid legalization has led to a knowledge gap for physicians. Although most users inhale cannabis, few physicians know the health effects of inhaling cannabis in the airway. A multidisciplinary panel of highly experienced and knowledgeable medical experts will answer your questions, share their experiences, and recommend best practices to help health practitioners guide their patients to make informed choices on cannabis usage.
This event has now passed, but has been recorded for asynchronous viewing; to access the video, click HERE. Due to an overwhelming response, the DoorDash gift card allocation is now complete - thank you to all who participated.
This project has been made possible by the generous funding support of the Michael Smith Foundation.
