ENT CME is pleased to be hosting UBC Otolaryngology Grand Rounds, which will air on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 AM PST. This week's talk will be from Dr. Alice Liu, supervised by Dr. Amanda Hu. She will be presenting "Opioids & Otolaryngology: Best Practice for Perioperative Pain". This is an non-accredited CME activity and is eligible for Section 2 credits.
OBJECTIVES
- Understand the current opioid crisis in Canada and the impact surgery has played
- Discuss non-opioid drugs and resources for perioperative pain control
- Review consensus recommendations for prescriptions after Otolaryngology procedures
