About the Event

ENT CME is pleased to be hosting UBC Otolaryngology Grand Rounds, which will air on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 AM PST. This week's talk will be from Dr. Graham McIntyre, supervised by Dr. Ronak Rahmanian. He will be presenting on "Dilatory Eustachian Tube Dysfunction: An Update on Clinical Work-Up and Treatment". This is an non-accredited CME activity and is eligible for Section 2 credits.

OBJECTIVES

1. Review the relevant anatomy and physiology of the Eustachian tube

2. Discuss the pathophysiology of dilatory Eustachian tube dysfunction and its link to middle ear disease

3. Summarize the evidence for clinical work-up, questionnaires, and diagnostic tests

4. Review efficacy of current treatments with an emphasis on balloon dilation of the Eustachian tube in both children and adults
